Events and Enterprise Decisions

NOW AVAILABLE ON DEMAND
Putting real-time intelligence to work requires a new, more decision-centric approach. This approach, enterprise decision management (EDM) focuses on the operational decisions that drive computerized decisions. In this session, James will talk about how organizations who adopt EDM develop decision services to:
-Use business rules to automate those decisions -Add analytic insight to these services using predictive analytics -Continually improve decision-making through adaptive control and optimization
He’ll also cover how these decision services bridge events, services and processes by putting real-time intelligence to work.
Leveraging Events Effectively

NOW AVAILABLE ON DEMAND
Hear how real TIBCO customers are using event analysis to great advantage. The first case study is about people, supply chains, and resource allocation and what happens when an unforeseen problem or delay causes disruption to one of the world’s largest airlines. Learn how this particular airline used TIBCO BusinessEvents™ to improve its supply chain and mitigate the costly ripple effect associated with recovery from weather delays, gate, equipment, and personnel changes.
The second case study examines an interesting paradox most modern businesses face – how to maximize revenue streams while getting closer, and more personally able to service individual customers. Learn how one of the world’s largest banks, with a massive number of customers, was able to use transactions and other business events to find the moment their customers were ready to listen and perhaps buy more banking services.
Redefining Operational Intelligence Using

NOW AVAILABLE ON DEMAND
Traditional operational intelligence means knowing what your business and IT infrastructure are doing right now. That is not enough anymore. Operational intelligence for business is now like modern air warfare, in which most battles are won before the enemy is visually spotted. While individual messages between computer systems and services have become extremely profuse in the modern computing environment, the sheer volume results in “noise,” and important events and event patterns fly by unheeded – from a lost cross-sell opportunity to lost airline luggage. Learn how TIBCO BusinessEvents, the industry’s first and most mature distributed event processing product, provides tools to dip into the real-time stream of business events and get the extra microseconds you need to stay ahead of competitors.
In this session, engineers and product implementers will give you the low-down on the new state-of-the-art developments in event processing and show how TIBCO BusinessEvents 3.0 provi
