The Process Engineering leader is responsible to: ensure outgoing product quality from the facility, to develop people and systems to deliver stable processes and predictable quality, and to ensure solid validation and process control systems are in place within the AA value stream. This role is also responsible to ensure that the AA value stream adheres to established Quality Management system requirements.

The Responsibilities of the Role Includes:
- With minimal guidance from the Value Stream Manager, provide daily process and quality leadership and support for assigned manufacturing area(s).
- Assist with the resolution of issues within the assigned manufacturing area(s).
- Support initiatives of assigned Process and Quality Teams.
- Lead technical teams to achieve business results.
- Provide equipment and engineering leadership and support for improvement of processes, materials, equipment, and process management systems within assigned manufacturing area(s).
- Identify sources of process and product variation within equipment, materials, process settings, and procedures
- Develop and implement action plans to minimize process and product variation through improvements to the equipment.
- Develop capability in the workforce to deliver improved process reliability, quality results, and quality system adherence
Qualifications of the Role Include:
- Knowledge of alkaline battery chemical making systems and assembly is a plus
- Experience in other related powder handling, chemical making, and high speed assembly technology and process engineering are preferred
- Experience using Statistical Process Control and Root Cause Problem Solving Techniques
- Demonstrated capability in setting up systems to monitor, trend, and improve adherence to product & material specifications and standards.
- Strong leadership, problem solving, and collaboration skills.

Information & Decision Solutions – Supply Network Solutions Manager

This is a fun job! You will be de-facto Chief Information Officer of two major manufacturing facilities in the Procter & Gamble North America Home Care. You will need to think strategically and form partnerships with the plant leaders to deliver the site's Compelling Business Need. You will have wide discretion on day-to-day decisions and long-term strategy impacting the solutions and systems at the Kansas City plant. You will also work with a network support team of external technical resources and a will control the site IT budget. The manufacturing plants are located in Saint Louis, MO and Kansas City, KS. These are strategic sites for the P&G Home Care category and thus require strong leadership and business focus in order to develop the business and technical processes to maintain a 24x7 operation. This position provides a great opportunity to develop and utilize knowledge in manufacturing and distribution systems and deliver breakthrough business results in various aspects of the supply chain. Partnerships with other P&G Home Care sites, such as Brockville, Canada and External Supply Operations in Cincinnati, OH, will be needed to deliver breakthrough supply chain results for the Home Care category.

Responsibilities of this role include:
- Serve as a single point of contact for plant leadership. Provide clear & concise input to the site and category portfolio of projects based on site Compelling Business Need. Develop, communicate, and deliver the Joint Business Plan for the plants.
- Provide governance of existing IT systems and processes. Ensure uninterrupted operations of systems at the plant, by leveraging the corporate Service Lines and the local IDS organization. Work with central Site Managers to maintain adequate IT security and controls, lead annual CSA completion and partner with Engineering/C&IS to maintain a healthy network environment.
- Participate in plant leadership strategy development for the plants
- Ensure all Global Business Services (GBS) / Information Decision Solutions (IDS) initiatives & programs are successfully identified, implemented, and exploited.
- Lead the plant in discovering key opportunities to eliminate supply chain losses and drive breakthrough business results through the use of IT systems (generate real $$ savings for the plant!)
- Coordinate local GBS/IDS initiative implementation and communications. Ensure robust management of GBS/IDS expenses and capital for the plant.

The qualifications of the role include:
- Minimum bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
- Experience in leading others to deliver significant business results. Individual must have the ability to recognize opportunities, engage, energize, and enlist other to deliver stretch goals.
- Ability to work effectively with a broad range of organizations and external partners to deliver significant business results. Strong issue resolution and effective communication skills with external suppliers will be used regularly in this role.
- Ability to sort through high level unstated needs, identify the issues and risks, and determine optimal solution to deliver Value Creation in key business results.
- Creative and innovative thinking is required. Have the ability to see new ways of leveraging the current information systems to drive bottom line results for the business.
- Strong, demonstrated project management skills is needed to develop and execute detailed project plans and produce key deliverables. Ability to envision a strategic picture and map project phases to progress towards vision is needed.
- Individual must be able to manage multiple priorities and flow between critical pieces of work as needed.
- Knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Candidate must have the ability and desire for frequent travel (at least 1x per month, preferably bi-weekly) between the Saint Louis and Kansas City plants.
- Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, refugee, asylee or lawful permanent resident.

Power, Controls & Information Systems — Lead Engineer

The Power, Controls & Information Systems (PC&IS) department supports the 24 hour / 7 day AA battery manufacturing operation. PC&IS Manager: Provides technical and business leadership supporting day to day operations, projects, initiatives and continuous improvements efforts in PC&IS systems. Leads the Electrical & Controls Engineering department, comprised of 1-2 electrical engineers and ~15 Electronic technicians, building their capability to eliminate throughput, quality and cost losses. Develops E&I technology and troubleshooting skills program. This role supports all areas of the plant: Powder Processing, Cell Assembly, and Testing.

Responsibilities of this Role Include:
- The PC&IS manager has overall responsibility for daily management systems, prioritization, and technical development of the E-techs and electrical engineers.
- Technologies include Programmable Logic Controller (PLC's), Human Machine Interface (HMI), Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGV's), Automated Stores and Retrieval Storage System (ASRS), batch and continuous making operations, high speed cell assembly lines, and typical plant utility systems.
- The individual will build capability to reduce electrical breakdowns, and reduce electrical Maintenance & Repair (M&R) spending.

Responsibilities of this Role Include:
- Provide electrical engineering leadership, expertise, equipment safety, technical services, equipment capital projects, and services to all of the current manufacturing equipment.
- Provide electrical/electronic leadership and support for the technical department and manufacturing operations.
- Obtain quotations, writes, manage appropriation requests.
- Supervise installation and start up of new or modified equipment.
- Document and evaluate all new equipment or equipment upgrades.

Qualifications for the Role Include:
- 10 years minimum knowledge and experience in electrical and control systems design, troubleshooting, and upgrades in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands on experience with PLC programming, servo and motor drives, sensor and vision systems.
- Experience in providing support and leadership to electricians and technicians in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and experience in properly maintaining equipment wiring, performing major equipment modifications, assisting in maintaining spare part activities and insuring formal training for technical personnel.
