Dan Passarelli began his trading career as an equity options market maker. He also traded agricultural options and futures on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade (now part of CME Group). Mr. Passarelli has built his company Market Taker Mentoring, Inc. to be the leading options education firm in the U.S. and abroad. Market Taker Mentoring provides options education both online and in person.

Mr. Passarelli has written two popular books on options trading — Trading Option Greeks and The Market Taker’s Edge. Trading Option Greeks is currently being translated into Chinese. As a world-renowned expert who teaches traders across the world how to trade successfully as market makers, proprietary traders, money managers and retail traders, Mr. Passarelli also contributes to financial media such as Bloomberg TV, Fox Business News, TheStreet.com and Public Radio (NPR).

Sheridan Options Mentoring Corporation

Dan Sheridan is a 22-year Cboe pit veteran with Mercury Trading, where for 17 years he served as senior trader and risk manager. Dan regularly taught traders and retail investors on behalf of Mercury and the Cboe Options Institute. He has previously provided training and commentary to numerous organizations including First Options, the Mexican Stock Exchange, DePaul University, Jon Najarian TCB Radio program, and WCIU TV 26.

Currently, Dan is president and founder of Sheridan Options Mentoring Corporation which provides one-on-one mentoring to retail and institutional traders seeking to add or improve their options trading skills.

Senior Instructor
Cboe Options Institute

Kevin Davitt is a Senior Instructor for the Cboe Options Institute, the educational arm of the Company. Davitt joined Cboe in 2015. Prior to his work with the Options Institute, Davitt was a successful Market Maker on the floor of the Cboe for LETCO Trading/TD Options as well as Market Street Securities. Davitt traded a number of Russell Indices between 2003 and 2007. Kevin also has extensive experience in commodity trading. He has worked with retail and institutional clientele in the markets. Davitt has provided commentary for Bloomberg, Reuters, Barchart, Inside Futures and various other market based media. He is a graduate of Marquette University (Finance and Political Science). Kevin is a proud Evans Scholar Alum. Outside of work he enjoys time with his wife, young son, and dog. Kevin likes to read, run, and see live music.

Cboe Options Institute

Peter Lusk is a Senior Instructor for the Options Institute at Cboe Global Markets, the educational arm of the Company. Lusk, who joined Cboe in 2007, teaches a variety of options courses for public and institutional investors.

Lusk has presented to thousands of investors across the U.S. and has conducted hundreds of webinars for both the Cboe Options Institute and various Cboe member firms. He is a regular contributor of options education articles to financial publications, has appeared on CNBC, and can be seen on the Cboe show, What’s Trading.

In addition to his responsibilities at the Options Institute, Lusk serves as an Instructor for the Options Industry Council (OIC), an educational organization representing the entire U.S. options industry. He also remains an active, professional options trader, which allows him to share his trading experiences with his classes. Prior to joining the Cboe Options Institute, Lusk was a highly successful Market Maker on the floor of the Cboe, specializing in equity options trading. In 1993, he joined Steve Fossett's group -- Lakota Trading in Chicago, where he served as a Market Maker on the floor of the Cboe and had the additional responsibility of educating and training the firm's new Market Makers.

Roma Colwell-Steinke is a Senior Administrator for the Cboe Options Institute, the educational arm of the Company. Colwell-Steinke who joined Cboe in 2013, produces and teaches educational programs for public and institutional investors. She has presented to investors across the U.S. and has also conducted educational webinars for both the Cboe Options Institute and various Cboe member firms. In addition to her responsibilities at the Cboe Options Institute, Colwell-Steinke serves as an Instructor for the Options Industry Council (OIC) – an educational organization representing the entire U.S. options industry. Prior to joining The Options Institute she was a Designated Primary Market Maker on the trading floor of Cboe. She was also an educator at Group One LP, teaching new traders the art of market making.

CFA, Director, Product Advancement, Global Derivatives
Cboe Global Markets

Russell Rhoads, CFA, is a Director of Product Advancement, Global Derivatives at Cboe Global Markets. His career before joining Cboe included positions at a variety of firms including Highland Capital Management, Caldwell & Orkin Investment Counsel, Balyasny Asset Management, and Millennium Management. He is a financial author and editor having contributed to multiple magazines and edited several books for Wiley publishing. He is the author of six market related books including Trading VIX Derivatives, Option Spread Trading, Trading Weekly Options, and Options Strategies for Advisors and Institutions. He authored material to be included in Level II of the CFA program and material for the CMT designation. In addition to his duties at Cboe, he is an adjunct instructor at Loyola University. He is a double graduate of the University of Memphis with a BBA ('92) and an MS ('94) in Finance and also received a Master's Certificate in Financial Engineering from the Illinois Tech in 2003. Russell is currently pursuing a PhD from Oklahoma State University with an expected graduation date in the Summer of 2018.
