He has over thirty years of experience trading in the equity markets and has traded options in his stock portfolio and for income generation since 1999. His formal finance training includes graduate level business and finance courses and advanced options training at the CBOE Options Institute. In addition to founding Parkwood Capital for stock and options coaching, Dr. Given co-founded G&L Capital Management, LLC, a private hedge fund.

Kevin Davitt is a Senior Instructor for The Options Institute at CBOE, the educational arm of the Company.

Davitt joined CBOE in 2015. Prior to his work with The Options Institute, Davitt was a successful Market Maker on the floor of the CBOE for LETCO Trading/TD Options as well as Market Street Securities.

Davitt traded a number of Russell Indices between 2003 and 2007. Kevin also has extensive experience in commodity trading. He has worked with retail and institutional clientele in the markets.

Davitt has provided commentary for Bloomberg, Reuters, Barchart, Inside Futures and various other market based media. He is a graduate of Marquette University (Finance and Political Science). Kevin is a proud Evans Scholar Alum. Outside of work he enjoys time with his wife, young son, and dog. Kevin likes to read, run, and see live music.

Kevin Nichols, CFA, is a Director in Business Development at CBOE Livevol and a former lead market maker with 21 years of option trading experience. While a market maker at Timber Hill, he ran their San Francisco training program. As a member of the Pacific Exchange he served on the Listing, Technology and Nominating Committees. Kevin holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Business Administration from Sterling College.

Peter Lusk is a Senior Instructor for The Options Institute at CBOE, the educational arm of the Company. Lusk, who joined CBOE in 2007, teaches a variety of options courses for public and institutional investors.

Lusk has presented to thousands of investors across the U.S. and has conducted hundreds of webinars for both The Options Institute and various CBOE member firms. He is a regular contributor of options education articles to financial publications, has appeared on CNBC, and can be seen on his CBOE TV show, Strategy of the Week.

In addition to his responsibilities at The Options Institute, Lusk serves as an Instructor for the Options Industry Council (OIC), an educational organization representing the entire U.S. options industry. He also remains an active, professional options trader, which allows him to share his trading experiences with his classes. Prior to joining The Options Institute, Lusk was a highly successful Market Maker on the floor of the CBOE, specializing in equity options trading. In 1993, he joined Steve Fossett’s group -- Lakota Trading in Chicago, where he served as a Market Maker on the floor of the CBOE and had the additional responsibility of educating and training the firm’s new Market Makers.

Russell Rhoads, CFA, is a Director of Program Development with the Options Institute at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. He joined the Institute in 2008 after a career as an investment analyst and trader with a variety of firms including Highland Capital Management, Caldwell & Orkin Investment Counsel, and Millennium Management.

He is a financial author and editor having contributed to multiple magazines and edited several books for Wiley publishing. In 2008 he wrote Candlestick Charting for Dummies. Since joining the Options Institute he authored Option Spread Trading: A Comprehensive Guide to Strategies and Tactics which was released in January 2011 and also wrote Trading VIX Derivatives: Trading and Hedging Strategies Using VIX Futures, Options, and Exchange Traded Notes which was published in August 2011. He recently finished work on The Warren Buffett Way 3rd Edition Workbook and Trading Weekly Options: Pricing Characteristics and Short Term-Trading Strategies. In addition to his duties for the CBOE, he is an adjunct instructor at Benedictine University and acts as an instructor for the Options Industry Council. He is a double graduate of the University of Memphis with a BBA ('92) and an MS ('94) in Finance and also received a Master's Certificate in Financial Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2003. He is currently pursuing a PhD from Oklahoma State University with an expected graduation date of December 2017. Finally, Russell is a lifetime member of the Minor League Baseball Alumni Association.
